Fine Art Printing for Artists

We support artists and the art community by offering affordable fine art printing and no sitting fees for image adjustments when the artist is present at our North Pittsburgh studio. Photographic output is of the highest image quality suitable for gallery exhibitions.

The process is simple. The artist uploads his high-resolution artwork with our easy-to-use Web upload tool. We work closely with the artist on printing specifications and details for image enhancement, such as upscaling, sharpening or color adjustment. Image upscaling is achieved using Genuine Fractals from onOne Software, Inc. Test prints and soft and hard proofs are available at cost. The final photographic piece can be printed on various output materials including fine art archival paper, and glossy or luster paper.

For artists preparing for an exhibition or displaying a single piece, we offer matting and framing services at discounted rates. Double and triple mats, bevel cuts, custom sizes or you own creative idea, it's the final step to turning your vision into fine art.

Our Work on Walls

Pittsburgh photographic artist Brian Chapman called on our printing services for his exhibition "Reflections, Rotations, Symmetries: Work by Brian Chapman." Shooting in Hawaii, Utah and Pennsylvania, Brian created intriguing kaleidoscope-like visual patterns from photographs of common objects such as wood, rust and ice. The prints were made using an Epson Stylus Pro R3800 printer with UltraChrome K3 ink on 68 lb UltraPro Satin 2.0 paper to give a fade resistance guarantee of 104 years.

Below are some shots from Brian's opening night. The exhibition is presented by the Trust Education and Community Engagement Department at the 709 Penn Gallery in Pittsburgh, and runs from October 12 to November 16, 2007.
